When we then meet or call, we don't have to spend the first half catching each other up — we can go straight to the conversation that actually matters. Even with the grandkids running around the sofa.

Voice, not just words
Some answers don't fit into text. A laugh, a pause, the way Mum quietly says "I'm actually doing alright" — that lives in the voice.
In So tell us, each person can record up to three minutes. The recording is transcribed automatically and appears as text in the issue — so everyone can read it in peace. When an answer runs long, a shorter version is added so reading doesn't get tiring.
So tell us picks a highlight of at most 10 seconds from every voice note — the most emotional or important moment — and places it right above the answer. You read the words. But you hear the voice.

We host everything in Germany on Hetzner. No tracking. No ads. No selling to third parties. You can export your data as a file or delete it completely at any time.

You record, So tell us transcribes the recording and shows it as text in the issue. Additionally, a particularly emotional or important spot of up to 10 seconds is picked and made playable above your answer. You can listen to it beforehand and re-record if you want.
No pressure. The issue ships anyway — with the answers that are there. Nobody gets nagged, nobody gets put on the spot.
Any time. You can take your data with you as a file beforehand or have it deleted right away.
